The Return of "Hong Kong Foot"

Muriel and Anne looking out at the Mediterranean Sea
(Muriel and Anne enjoying the seaside just around the corner from "downtown" Sanary)

Nothing much to say except that I'm still recovering from France and juggling my schedule… I need to get a whole bunch of stuff done (i.e. moving, term papers, work projects) before I head back to Canada in June. Oh, that reminds me I have to let my office know about this trip and to pay for the ticket.

Its back to warm and sticky weather in BKK, with pimply greasy faces and "Hong Kong" foot… hmm… maybe it would be a change to live in a less tropical climate where there are changes in season… As far as Thailand goes, there's the "cool" season, the "hot" season, the "hot hot" season, and the "rainy yet sticky and still hot" season.

The clear blue waters of the Callanque
(The waters of the "Callonque" "les callanques de Cassis" near Marseille… the color is naturally, yet unnaturally clear and blue because of the ice-age and glaciers thousands of years ago)

  1. En français callanques, “les callanques de Cassis”…

Welcome back to Bangkok; it s not that bad 🙂

  2. Thanks for the comments… keep ’em coming…

And, Rick, yep, less tropical and more like Vancouver Island. Do you plan to go back to visit Sed’s family again?

  3. Her dad wanted us to go in August, but apparently Avery needs a passport and there’s no way we can get her one that quickly. So we’re aiming for March.

And that was a subtle dig at your inability to stay in one place, world-hopper. Get my jokes.
