(A close up of me and my friend during a bicycling trip at Ancient City)
The last couple of weekends have been interesting spending time with friends and going around taking photos. I don't think I've ever taken so many photos in a span of a couple of weeks… I actually filled up my memory card (roughly 500 pictures). It's encouraging to have people around who are as "snap-happy" as myself. I've been in a lull these past few months having not being so enthusiastic about going around the city to take photos. Probably has something to do with studying all day and night long. Now that I'm done with uni and back in the swing of things, I have an unfinished roll of Black and White waiting in my manual SLR just itching to be developed.
A replica of a elevated Thai house at Ancient City – the tour around Ancient City takes about 4 hours on bike depending how often you stop… its well worth the trouble (i.e. 1.5 hours on the city bus) to get out to this park, where its relatively quiet and the air is a bit fresher than in the city.
Taking a stroll to the Pavilion of the Enlightened – I tried to get my Thai friend to do something to make the shot more interesting, but in the end some kids starting to run along the planks making the shot come to life.
Took this shot from the rooftop of Siam Paragon that's currently under construction – 15 minutes later, we were told to go shopping and were kindly ushered back to the mall – its strange that there are not places to get away from the noise, pollution, people and chaos… when you do find a place, people don't like you to be there.
wow, is that a EF-S 10-22mm on your friends 350D? If so, NICE!
Salut Vincent,
It feels strange to have shared all these moments where the pictures have been taken. It feels nice to have a fellow photographer to go around places:)
you have to show me how to make a website like this!
