{"id":162,"date":"2007-03-12T13:45:33","date_gmt":"2007-03-12T06:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vincentfung.ca\/wordpress\/archives\/162"},"modified":"2011-03-24T08:08:08","modified_gmt":"2011-03-24T08:08:08","slug":"the-best-things-in-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vincentfung.ca\/blog\/archives\/162","title":{"rendered":"The best things in&nbsp;life&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\"http:\/\/vincentfung.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/dsc_0052.jpg\" border=\"5\" alt=\"Group huddle\" title=\"Group huddle\" \/><br \/> (Hey, that&#39;s me in number 13, my old junior high school basketball number&#8230; this was us trying to plan out our strategy against Mission Hospital during a friendly basketball match between the UN&#39;s basketball club and the Hospital)<\/p>\n<p>Can you believe it, one more month and I&#39;ll have been in Bangkok (again!) for a year&#8230; whoa, time sure flies. I still have one more year left on my contract, and then it&#39;s that time again&#8230; the &quot;what do I do now&quot; thoughts running through my mind &#8211; although I have to admit that these &quot;thoughts&quot; are always there.&nbsp; Maybe it&#39;s in the blood with my father&#39;s family being <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hakka\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Wikipedia - Hakka\">Hakka<\/a>, supposedly nomadics of the Chinese people.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Trying to keep these thoughts in check is a pretty hard thing to do especially since my mind is racing a million miles a minute.&nbsp; But there are couple of activities that can ease my mind, even if its only for a short time.&nbsp; As you probably might be able to guess, its playing basketball and eating&#8230; I can&#39;t get enough of it.
